Resort Bear Creek FD Supports Mission Six Service Dogs at Emmet County Fair

Yesterday evening, during the Autocross event at the Emmet County Fair, the attendees generously contributed a total of $203 in support of the first responders who diligently served at the event. These funds were then channeled towards a significant and impactful purpose.

Representing the Resort Bear Creek Fire Department, along with our colleagues from the Springvale Township Fire Department, Harbor Springs Area Fire Department, and Emmet County EMS, we take immense pride in having directed these donations towards the Mission Six Service Dogs initiative. This will directly enhance the life of Josh Gaus, a disabled veteran, and his devoted service dog, Bandit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to both Josh Gaus and his steadfast companion, Bandit, for their dedicated service and sacrifice. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and we are honored to have contributed to such a noble cause.
