Smoke alarm alerts residents
At 3:45 this morning crew from RBCFD responded to a fire behind a refrigerator. Upon arrival they smoke inside the residence Upon further investigation, they found charred material behind the refrigerator. Upon removal of refrigerator, found that there was a light duty extension cord plugged into a toaster oven. A huge credit goes to smoke detectors that alerted the residence. Check your smoke detectors on a regular basis if you need smoke detectors or need them to be looked
