At Resort Bear Creek Fire Department, we're dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. As a part-time grant writer, you'll play a crucial role in helping us secure the funding needed to enhance our life-saving initiatives, equipment, and training programs.
What You'll Do:
Research and identify grant opportunities that align with our mission and goals
Collaborate with our team to gather information and data for grant proposals
Craft well-written, persuasive grant proposals and applications
Maintain records of grant applications and their status
Help us continue to provide top-notch emergency services to our community
Qualifications:
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience in grant writing is required
Passion for community safety and well-being
Local to Northern Michigan and able to meet in person occasionally in Petoskey, MI (remote work 95% of the time)
