Press Release:

On 10-08-2025 at approximately 1:16am Central Dispatch received a call of a possible fire in a Bay Harbor restaurant.

Petoskey Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the location and found fire to the rear of the restaurant Nomad located on Main Street in Bay Harbor. Arriving crews knocked down the exterior flames while an interior attack team made entry to extinguish fire discovered in the interior of the structure. The building is attached to the Bay Harbor Hotel as well as several condos. These structures sustained smoke damage, however fire crews were able to contain much of the fire damage to the kitchen area of Nomad.
